Refund policy

1. No Refunds on Competition Entries

1.1. All entry fees for competitions run by The Makers Ventures LTD are final and non-refundable, except in cases where:

  • The competition is cancelled before a winner is drawn.
  • A technical error resulted in a duplicate or incorrect charge.

1.2. Once an entry is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, withdrawn, or refunded under any circumstances, as it constitutes participation in a prize draw.

1.3. By entering a competition, you agree that no refunds will be issued if:

  • You change your mind.
  • You fail to win the competition.
  • You fail to claim your prize within the stated timeframe.
  • A postal free entry is not processed before the competition sells out.

2. Competition Cancellations & Refunds

2.1. If a competition is cancelled for any reason, all paid entries will be refunded in full using the original payment method.
2.2. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days from the date of cancellation.
2.3. Free postal entries are not eligible for refunds or compensation if a competition is cancelled.

3. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

3.1. If you are charged more than once for a single transaction due to a system error, please contact us at team@lootzilla.co.uk within 14 days to request a refund.
3.2. Proof of the incorrect charge (such as a bank statement or payment receipt) must be provided.
3.3. Refunds for incorrect charges will be issued within 5-7 working days of verification.

4. Prize Issues & Replacements

4.1. All prizes are subject to availability. If a specific prize is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute it with an item of equal or greater value.
4.2. Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
4.3. If a prize is damaged in transit, winners must notify us within 48 hours of receipt, providing photographic evidence. We will assess whether a replacement or repair is applicable.

5. Chargeback & Dispute Policy

5.1. If you dispute a payment without a valid reason (such as falsely claiming an entry was unauthorized), we reserve the right to:

  • Provide proof of your confirmed entry to the payment processor.
  • Restrict future participation in our competitions.
  • Pursue legal action if fraudulent chargeback claims are made.

5.2. If you have any concerns about a payment, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback, as we are happy to resolve issues directly.
